Halal Approved Facility
Approved by Halal Conformity Services (HCS), our Halal-certified factory stands as a symbol of trust and authenticity in the industry. We guarantee that only Halal-certified meat enters our premises, adhering to rigorous standards from start to finish. Our dedication to Halal principles ensures that our products meet the dietary requirements of our discerning consumers, reflecting our commitment to excellence and cultural diversity.
Our Facility & Products Used
At our state-of-the-art, Halal-certified facilities, factory, health and safety, and food safety standards are strictly adhered to. From our stringent safety measures during preparation, to the sterilisation and cooking of the product, you can be sure that our meals are verified and audited against the highest of standards.
Because we make products with fish and meat that are distributed domestically and internationally, we are required to meet a number of health and safety and food safety requirements. We operate within the Animal Products Act which is regulated by New Zealand’s Ministry of Primary Industries. That means we obtain our meat and fish from registered premises, operate a risk management programme that is audited every three months and carry out regimented hygiene practices within the factory.
Allergens and Preparation
In the product preparation phase, our factory workers suit up in their smocks, hair nets, cut-proof gloves, sanitised gumboots and safety glasses.
Attention to detail in the health and safety space, alongside strict storage and preparation regimes for all of our ingredients means we are able to prevent the cross-contamination of allergens. This involves the airtight containment of ingredients which are stored separately, as well as preparing and cooking different recipes on alternate days.
